As a DB Administrator, you will:
■ Ensure the reliability of the database in terms of design, operation, and scalability
■ Monitor and improve database performance
■ Conduct installations, backups, troubleshooting
■ Investigate system performance, resolve errors and problems on the database layer
■ Coordinate with internal teams
Main Qualifications:
■ 3+ years of experience as database administrator
■ MySQL and any Unix scripting language
■ AWS or any other virtualized API-driven platforms
■ Fluent communication skills in English
■ Java app knowledge is a plus
Welcome skills/experience:
■ experience in PostgreSQL or experience in automating Datastore Operations or Datastores as a Service (DaaS)
■ experience speaking and/or writing Japanese
